Inconel UNS N06625

Nickel Alloy 625, frequently called Inconel 625, is a corrosion and heat-resistant Nickel-based alloy. It is alloyed with Chromium and Iron, along with Niobium-Tantalum and Molybdenum for increased toughness and strength. It is nonmagnetic, and corrosion and oxidation-resistant, with service temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 1800°F. Because of its alloy matrix, precipitation hardening treatments are not required. This alloy is generally double-melted, with either EF-AOD melt (Electric Furnace followed by Argon Oxygen Decarburization) or VIM (Vacuum Induction Melt); and with a second melt by either VAR (Vacuum Arc Remelt), or ESR (Electroslag Reduction). Alloy 625 (UNS N06625) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with an addition of niobium. The addition of molybdenum acts with the niobium to stiffen the alloy matrix, providing a high strength without a strengthening heat treatment. The alloy resists a wide range of corrosive environments and has a good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.

Inconel 625 ASTM B366 Butt Weld Fittings

Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings are strong and are used in high corrosive applications that need stronger pipes. The material is a nickel chromium molybdenum alloy with niobium in the composition for stabilization. It can operate from cryogenic temperatures up to 1093 degrees Celsius. So the fittings are preferable for applications that require high strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. The Alloy 625 Butt weld Fittings are used with ease of welding and this is the most used type of fittings. The Inconel UNS N06625 Pipe Elbow is used to turn the pipe away by an angle, usually 45 degrees or 90 degrees. The ASTM B366 Alloy 625 Pipe Reducer makes the pipe line diameter change. The ASME B16.9 Inconel 625 Welded Butt weld Fittings can be applied to the same material made pipes for ductility and strength. Our product range includes the ASME SB366 Inconel 625 Long Radius Elbow which is with a longer radius than the ordinary elbows and the Inconel WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4856 End Cap is one of the common products that is used to close a pipe.

After the hydride treatment, ASTM B366 Inconel 625 Butt Weld Pipe Fittings should be immersed during an acid bath 165D Degree F (74 Degree C). Due to its good ductility, Alloy 625 Pipe Fittings also are readily formed by cold working. Inconel 625 Elbow Butt Weld Pipe Fittings (UNS N06625) has a feature of non – magnetic, corrosion and oxidation resistant. we manufacture wide range of ASTM B564 Inconel 625 Butt weld Fittings such as Inconel 625 Butt weld Elbows, Inconel 625 Butt weld Tees, Inconel 625 Butt weld Reducers, Inconel 625 Butt weld pipe end Caps, Inconel 625 Butt weld Pipe Bends etc. as per International standard like ASME/ASTM/API. Inconel 625 Long Radius Elbow Butt Weld Pipe Fittings is a super – alloy that possesses high strength properties and resistance to elevated temperatures. Also We offer wide range of Inconel 625 ASTM B366 pipe fittings such as Inconel 625 End Pipe Cap, Inconel 625 Reducer, Inconel 625 Cross, Inconel 625 elbow, Inconel 625 Stub ends etc.

What is Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings application

Inconel 625 Butt Weld Fittings is a special grade of nickel-chromium alloy that offers superior corrosion resistance and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature environments. This alloy is highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It also has good weldability properties, making it ideal for industries including aerospace engineering, chemical processing plants, nuclear power generation plants and many more. Its superior mechanical strength over a wide temperature range and outstanding fatigue characteristics, Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings, make it an ideal choice for many specialized applications.

Oil and Gas Industry

The oil and gas industry is one of the primary users of Inconel 625 pipe fittings because of their superior corrosion, high strength, and excellent wear resistance. Inconel 625 pipe fittings are used in oil and gas exploration, production, and refining, where they can withstand high pressures and temperatures. Inconel 625 fittings are used in critical areas such as wellheads, piping systems, and valves.

Aerospace Industry

Inconel 625 pipe fittings are widely used in the aerospace industry for their strength and corrosion resistance, especially for aircraft engines. This alloy is commonly used in turbojet engines, gas turbines, and rocket engines. It is also used for exhaust systems and other high-temperature applications.

Chemical Processing Industry

The chemical processing industry relies on Inconel 625 pipe fittings to withstand severe conditions in corrosive environments. This alloy is used in various applications such as chemical reactors, heat exchangers, and distillation columns because it can resist pitting and crevice corrosion. Inconel 625 pipe fittings are also used in chlorine production and processing of acids.

Marine Industry

Inconel 625 pipe fittings are commonly used in the marine industry, particularly in saltwater applications, because of their resistance to corrosion and the ability to withstand harsh environments. Marine applications of Inconel 625 fittings include seawater cooling systems, piping systems, and exhaust systems.

Nuclear Industry

The nuclear industry requires materials that can withstand high pressures and temperatures without degradation. Inconel 625 pipe fittings are used in nuclear power plants in critical areas such as reactor pressure vessels, steam generators, and piping systems. This alloy can handle the rigours of nuclear energy generation without losing strength or resilience.
