Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. It has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and to localized attack, such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Incoloy 825 is especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. The sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid production and process plants use the W.Nr. 2.4858 plate to build the structures and tanks. Since the material is strong, the Inconel 825 Shim is used as a buffer between two components to absorb the stress and to provide a tight connection. The ASTM b424 uns n08825 sheet can come in different sizes. We provide our customers with custom cut to sizes as well. the ASME sb 424 uns n08825 coil is used in heat exchangers and super heaters as well as boilers for the high temperature resistance and high thermal conductivity. The alloy 825 hot rolled steel plate has different finishes such as perforated and checkered while the cold rolled sheets have a smooth finish with high precision. The Incoloy 825 cold rolled sheet is preferred for instrumentation because of the high dimensional accuracy.
Incoloy 825 Sheet / Plate is used to create the surfaces of highly corrosive media storage tanks and containers. Acid containers, chemical storage tanks, sea water purification systems and boilers use these plates and sheets. Roopam Steel is a leading manufacturer of these sheets and plates and we supply them in all sizes. The Incoloy 825 plate has 662MPa minimum tensile strength and 338MPa minimum yield strength when annealed whereas Alloy 825 Sheet has 758MPa minimum tensile strength and 421MPa minimum yield strength when annealed. The difference is mostly the thickness. The sheets vary from 0.3mm to 4mm in thickness where the plates range from 4mm to 75mm in thickness. The Nickel Alloy 825 strips are essentially narrow versions of the plates and sheets. The strips are used to create pipes and to line other material made applications. The material is a high nickel alloy that has molybdenum, titanium and niobium along with chromium. This composition makes the uns n08825 sheet operable under high temperatures up to 870 degrees Celsius. The DIN 2.4858 Plate is used in applications where the strength and corrosion resistance are the prime concerns. Please direct your queries about the products towards us.

One of Incoloy 825 Plate's standout features is its exceptional resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments. Its high nickel content helps resist chloride stress-corrosion cracking, while molybdenum and copper provide excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Additionally, the presence of titanium stabilizes the alloy against intergranular corrosion. This makes Incoloy 825 Plate highly effective in acidic environments, including sulfuric, phosphoric, nitric, and hydrofluoric acids, as well as in alkaline solutions.
Incoloy 825 Plate maintains strong mechanical properties across a wide temperature range. At room temperature, it has a minimum yield strength of 49,000 psi (338 MPa) and a minimum tensile strength of 96,000 psi (662 MPa). The alloy also retains good impact strength at both room and cryogenic temperatures, although it is not recommended for high-temperature applications requiring excellent creep-rupture properties.
Incoloy 825 Plate is known for its excellent workability and weldability, similar to other nickel-based alloys. It can be easily formed and welded using standard techniques and can be significantly strengthened through cold work, enhancing its use in various manufacturing processes.
