316L Mod is an austenitic stainless steel with extra low silicon and higher molybdenum. It also has higher nickel (13.5%), which make it wholly austenitic (less than 0.5% ferrite) to resist urea carbonate solutions. 316L Mod Has excellent resistance to welding hot cracking and intergranular corrosion.
